1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and Anthoria AI Academy (“Anthoria AI Academy”, “we”, “us”, “our”), the operator of the online learning platform accessible at https://learn.anthoria.tech (the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, registering an account, or purchasing any course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to register an account. If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Platform Description

Anthoria AI Academyis an online education platform offering AI-focused courses, learning materials, video content, downloadable resources, and certificates of completion (collectively, “Course Content” or “Services”). Courses may be offered in Movie format (single long-form video) or Series format (multiple episodes), and may be provided free of charge or for a fee as indicated on the Platform.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Account Registration and Security

To access paid or gated content, you must register an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
  • Not share your account with third parties or allow others to access courses on your behalf.
  • Be responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain false information, or engage in prohibited conduct.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Platform — including course videos, text, graphics, audio, downloadable materials, software, trademarks, and the “Anthoria AI Academy” name and logo — is owned by or licensed to Anthoria AI Academy and is protected by applicable Malaysian and international intellectual property laws, including the Copyright Act 1987 (Malaysia) and the Trade Marks Act 2019 (Malaysia).

Upon enrolling in a course, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and view the Course Content solely for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

You must not:

  • Download, copy, reproduce, distribute, broadcast, or publicly display Course Content.
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of any Course Content.
  • Reverse-engineer, disassemble, or decompile any part of the Platform.
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
  • Use Course Content to train artificial intelligence models or machine learning systems.

5. Payment, Pricing, and Refunds

5.1 Pricing

Course prices are displayed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) or United States Dollars (USD) as indicated. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time; changes will not affect courses you have already purchased.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (including Stripe). By making a purchase, you agree to the payment processor's terms of service. We do not store your full payment card details.

5.3 Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day refund from the date of purchase for any paid course, provided you have not completed more than 20% of the course content. To request a refund, contact us at support@anthoria.tech with your purchase details. Refunds are credited to the original payment method within 10–14 business days.

Refunds will not be granted for courses where a certificate of completion has been issued.

5.4 Consumer Protection

If you are a consumer resident in Malaysia, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 (CPA), including your rights in respect of goods or services that are not of acceptable quality or fit for purpose.

6. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Use the Platform to transmit unsolicited commercial communications (spam).
  • Upload, post, or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, fraudulent, or infringes any third-party rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Platform, other user accounts, or related systems or networks.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access, collect, or copy data from the Platform without our prior written consent.
  • Engage in any conduct that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Platform or interfere with other users' experience.
  • Share, sell, or resell your account credentials or course access with any third party.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.

7. Certificates of Completion

Upon completing a course, you may receive a digital certificate of completion bearing a unique credential ID. Certificates are issued for personal achievement recognition only and do not constitute an academic qualification, professional certification, or guarantee of employment.

You may share your certificate on professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn) using the credential verification link provided. You must not alter, forge, or misrepresent any certificate issued by Anthoria AI Academy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform and all Course Content are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that: (a) the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free; (b) defects will be corrected; (c) the Platform is free of viruses or other harmful components; or (d) the Course Content is accurate, complete, or current.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Anthoria AI Academy and its directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Platform or Course Content.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or MYR 500, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Malaysian law.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and conditions.

11. Data Protection and Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal data in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia and applicable international data protection laws. By using the Platform, you consent to such processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason we deem appropriate.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@anthoria.tech. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Sections 4, 8, 9, 13, and 14 shall survive termination.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith negotiations within 30 days of written notice.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by the courts of Malaysia having competent jurisdiction, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform or by sending an email to the address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform.

15. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Anthoria AI Academy with respect to the Platform.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
  • Language: These Terms are drafted in the English language. In the event of any conflict between an English version and a translated version, the English version shall prevail.
